  • Wait a second, so how is it straight pipe if you still have cat and resonator? I guess i dont understand. Please dumb it down for my dumbass, thanks lol :) Wanna do this too mine definitely!

  • @Aveoon32 eh I guess i kinda half assed a straight pipe. i no longer have this SC but i removed my resonators and mufflers an just dropped straight pipping from the center cat. eventually I removed the center cat because it didnt have a O2 sensor. the 2 primary cats had o2 sensors so i left those on. my latest SC has the resonators deleted and center cat deleted, through the stock mufflers sounds great! anyways good luck on your SC!

  • @FatBoiNinja So you're saying deleting all resonators and cats but leave the stock exhaust and thats the best sound? Cause this clip to me is the best sounding sc i have ever heard except that turbo 1uz :p. You should upload a video of you're new sc?

  • @Aveoon32 well its not as loud as this white sc. but yea if you are on a budget like most people, removing the center cat, and resonators gives you a pretty agressive sound. of course I kept my 2 primary cats on that are right after the exhaust manifold. i wouldnt go full straight pipe cause that would lose alot of power. since the weather is warmer I might just upload a new video of my latest sc!

  • clips of your new exhaust setup please :)

  • hey got a 97 sc400 ....looking for some headers for it. Got megna flows sounds good..

  • my 95 sc400 intake looks big, but it looks like it gets so small that cold air intake would help. w/e though an engine swap will be needed soon enough, 250,000 miles and its just keeps going up :(

    sc for life baby :)

  • Yea I heard the BFI intake conversion was better than any aftermarket intake. if done properly

  • Most OEM intake kits like the sc400's for example are well engineered , so an "After Market" intake would be useless. There is a mod to make the OEM intake for the sc400 better though, its called a BFI intake looks it up. Its cheap and effective.

  • but i still cant understand.. why? its colder air into the engine.. engine should breathe better.. at least in all cars that ive been in have been like that.. except for IS350 and IS-F which some people claim that CAI just doesnt work probably because of the MAF
