I would say the lyrics are creative and deeply expressive of the emotional experience of life and love, but much too self-centered to be considered "spiritual".
You could say the lyrics are expressive of the lyricist's spirit though, and I would agree with that.

There is just somthing about the sound of this song that puts your mind on a sunset in the large western sky as say Texas or Arizona the feeking of openess

Saw the Clash, saw the C Crows, and Stones, Zep,
Marley, etc, etc. The point of music is to provide escape, entertainment and, as a last resort, a political voice, a la U2. Why do you all have to ruin this beautiful thing by making it an extension to your anal political platforms??? It is music...ENJOY IT!!!
