@relmneiko And I completely agree. I still think a human culture is best. We can take the good bits from every existing culture to create it. And individuals can in turn choose for themselves which of the good bits they wanna adopt. It's really simple. That way you end up w/ people as they're suppose to be: as individuals. But we're still likely to end up sharing commonalities which should bring us together regardless of color. That's the world I and (I think) MLK Jr. envisioned also.

@relmneiko yes, i am white.  i'm not at all saying that any race should feel they are less than any other. i understand what you're saying, but i feel people should build up their pride individually in who they are and what they do. not in something that was an accident of birth or that they can do nothing about.

I'm just speculating here but people who are educated are more likely to be athiests; the poor are more likely to be religious. Probably why blacks are so religious. You want to bring blacks to atheism you should probably start solving poverty and social inequality. :/

@doaftheloaf ...are you white? It's easy to feel confident in your skin when you're white and in the majority. But if you're a minority and you experience racism and are represented stereotypically in the media and stuff you can get insecure about your race. "Pride" is something non-white people have to build because society breaks them down at every turn. White people (like myself) get it handed to them on a platter.

I'm really drunk, so forgive me for being a man, but I think your face is really pretty, so I agree with what you say.

Just kidding (sort of). I think it's just the American culture. "White" is considered more privileged and, henceforth, educated and whatnot. I'm a white guy and I act like an asshole deliberately to not seem pompus. I feel as though if everyone were a jester and could make an hammered asshole of themselves, society everywhere would all just die of laughter. Problems solved.

Another thing. Why can't we (the human race) have the same culture, a human culture? Why do we feel the need to separate our tastes, attitudes, behaviors, dislikes, etc. by race and/or ethnicity? That just makes no sense seeing as culture is entirely fabricated and proceeding that way causes more division than harmony. It's not in our genes in other words, so we're not as bound to it as we'd like to think. Wake up people!!
