Platinum Prerelease Video#3

This is from the Afternoon prerelease main event on Sat 1/31/09 at TIY in Rockford... Everyone is opening their 6 booster packs and seeing what they got in this video. Now they'll have to decide which 40 cards (and what energy cards they'll need from us) will go in their decks for the tournament. Looks like they got some good cards! We had 33 players for the afternoon main event, filling our gameroom which holds 32, (plus another 11 players in the other room for the Theme Deck Challenge). Our afternoon event had 3 rounds for the Jrs, 4 rounds for the Srs, and 5 rounds for the Masters. Among the door prizes that we gave away were additional booster packs, binders, stickers, and as always, another Free Pass to our next Prerelease, worth $25. Was a very fun event!

They're held all over the country... ours was held in Rockford IL at Tomorrow Is Yesterday, the game shop where we also have our Pokemon League and weekly tournaments.
