This was a very quick one. From the initial idea, which started with fiddling around with the sequencer, it all took less than an hour and the video was in one take. The main 8 step sequence is coming from the Waldorf Q Keyboard; the Doepfer MAQ16/3 is synchronized to that. The Doepfer drives the Synthesizers.com Modular with the 2nd 8 step sequence you hear and the self-built Modular with the 3rd 8 step sequence which has a sort of Roland CR-78 rhythmbox sound. Some simple improvised solo's on the Nord Lead 1 and the Korg 900PS completes this minimal theme.

@xdzyI total waste? I am enjoying it as music right now and so are a few others. As a door stop it would be less than a total waste, this is educational, instructive, inspiring and plain old fun!

I like when someone does what they want to with music and expresses their honest emotions. This is genuine. I appreciate your sharing the demos and videos. Good luck!

@br0therl0c0 According to online sources TD bought pretty much one of everything as they went along, I am sure they got all the gear we ever dreamed about....I saw them using a kord sqd 1 one time. (The Sqd 1 is a 2 track sequencer)

@xdzyI Then go buy a soldering iron and build your own, as Envy is a waste of time. Check out CAT, SERGE, MFOS and MOTM ... The things you can do with 50 cent TL084 and 555 timer chips are endless ... build some VCO's, Filters, ADSR's and Atari Punk Consoles. Build one a week for $5 ... the crap piles up quick.
