Gemma Portelli Malta TV Awards

Gemma Portelli, a legendary Maltese actress and comedian, won the much deserved 'Charles Arrigo' Lifetime Achievment Award in November 2007 at the Malta Television Awards. Gemma, a local jewel, featured in a number of television productions over the years such as: Fuq Tlieta toghod il-borma, F'Bahar Wiehed, Angli and Horrox Borrox (her last production). She was also a theatre veteran. Till the end of her life she remained humorous, positive, inspiring and beautiful. She died on 21st February 2008 at age 75. She will be remembered forever.
