i had one too! in Italy it was called "grillo parlante", which means a know-all and is the character of the cricket in Pinocchio tale.

I think it sounds pretty good here, and it looks like he has the guitar tuned for standard. He's using standard chord shapes. But I could be wrong

This is awsome ... i love seeing such kind of band still existing who actually try out everything... This reminds me of Muse, who also tryed alot of new things. I love it so much cuz of the own kind of style dredg has... They can be harsh, depresing, happy and everything in one song and its mad melodic. Every instrument is played in a harmony which is seriously not seen that often today.

I think Jimmi Page of Zeppelin was the first or certainly the first high profile performer but tbh it sounds terrible unless you tune the guitar specifically for it... and you don't have much choice in what strings do and don't sound.
