Many thanks to the guys at digital-diy.com. PIC 18F14K22 running at 64mhz is reading voltage between 0 and +5 and displaying it on a Sparkfun serial LCD at 9600baud. Programming was done with Proton (Proton Development Suite).

Now that I am getting the hang of PIC chips, having *graduated* from Picaxe chips, keep an eye on my channel for MORE PIC projects!!
