This is the 1954 Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra. Used in this piece is a bronze cannon made in France in 1775, the cannon now resides at West Point Academy. Also used are the 74 Bells of the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Carillon, The Riverside Church. Includes the world's largest tuned bell, weighing at an impressive 40,926 pounds 122.5 inchesin diameter.

  • while at Michigan State, I lived in a big house with a roommate who was an engineer for a local radio station and he wired up the best sound system throughout the place and the entire house rocked when I turned up the volume. This was in the early 60's.
