  • who wrote this peace?

  • The text is traditional, arranged by Phillip Lawson, sung by the King's Singers on one of their Christmas albums. Thanks for listening!

  • What does CWS stand for?

Where is it performend and are the singers german? Imho they are not. But it is beautiful.

    thanks for posting

  • Thanks for the complement! This was a recording of my college madrigals group, the Christopher Wren Singers. There's a link in the video info if you're interested. And no, we are not German. :)

und so schlimm ist die Aussprache gar nicht.

  • Love it.. just Love it x)

  • Großartig! Great!

  • @Seddius the whole song is a cappella. and i like it too. especially the pronounciation. :)

  • @Vochallensis And if you wanna write in English, acquire grammar as well. Your sentence doesn't make any sense whatsoever. And I'm German, university student of English AND university student of German as a Foreign Language, I still can't figure out what you were trying to say.

Sollte das nicht klar geworden sein: Deine englische Grammatik ist grad so schäbig, wie du's anscheinend von deren Aussprache behauptest, also mach dich net zum Deppen. Was sollte dein Satz überhaupt heißen?

  • Die ersten Takte sind intonatorischer Sondermüll, aber sonst sehr schön!

  • Entirely wonderful, specially the a cappella part. Sounds different from those I listened to before and has to be the richest and most beautiful so far. Thumbs up!

  • very beautiful. One of the best interpretations i found.

By the way: I'm german and i think the pronounciation is very good!

  • Sehr schönes Deutsch!!!! Wunderschön gesungen!

  • great pronunciation for non-german singers!! :)
