@Bdawg71692 In a bowl, usually steepness determines how it is rated. Other factors such as drop-offs, rock out-croppings, and trees may also affect the rating. Conditions will always vary, and this is not part of the rating. Depending on condtiions, even a blue can be quite challenging, or a black can be fairly easy, depending on your skill level.

OK so whats the difference between black and a blue? like are bowls not easier than actual ski runs? they seem like they would be to me. but i dont really know. i just whent down my first blue during my spring break.

there a several bowls and they are each rated differently at diffrent parts. but there are quite a few nice blacks. You should also check out blue sky basin.
