Many people have asked me now... "am I a Yuppie biker?" Don't know for sure but I'll tell you a little about what a real biker is.

To me, this garbage is hilarious. Guys like this claim bikers are independent, free-thinking, non-conformists, yet bitch like crazy when someone comes along who isn't EXACTLY like them.

They hate anyone ("yuppies," etc) who rides a different bike, wears different cloths, rides differently, or whatever.

In the end, these guys are the ultimate conformists and those they criticise are the true free-thinking individuals who refuse to goose-step to the ideas of what a "real" biker is.

It doesn't matter if you're riding for 3 year or 30years, It doesn't matter if you ride a heavy cruiser or a sport motorcycle, It doesn't matter if you gave 500 or 20.000E, what matters is that the air that hits your face is the same with everybody else. If you understand that then you are a true motorcyclist. Safe riding and always standing my friends :)

yes thats just what i wanted to say, a real biker is someone who rides his bike allot preferably in winter also.

A yuppie biker is someone who negatively compairs his harley/racebike to my shitty japanese semi rotten commuting bike when he just arrived cozy and warm in his car.

Also a real biker doesnt think its cool to ride a bike, or even think its an extension to his personality (lifestyle bullshit). He just likes to ride it, i mean what more reasons do you need?

I sand the H-D right off as soon as I get a new one home. Custom paint it and it's MINE. No FTF, but I don't even own an HD t-shirt. I don't care what you ride. A yuppie biker is a biker, but a biker may not be a yuppie biker. I may not ride a Harley, but I ride 365 days a year, rain, wind, or shine, and only become a cager when I need to haul something that's too big for my bike.
