Shuriken throwing at box and balloons

Boxes, cardboard and balloons are not the best shuriken targets. They're just too soft and don't reflect your skills.

They're ok for beginner, as it's easier to throw a shuriken into a box than in wood, but advanced throwers shouldn't "prove" themselves while throwing at boxes lol.

Throwing at a box from 15 m is NOT impressive, I hardly have to try to do twice...
The skill of a lowly skilled thrower will be enough to do this, but he won't be able to do the same with a wooden target.

A shuriken has a lot of force while travelling, the force a shuriken has after being thrown is far greater than any stabbing. You can't stab very deeply into wood, but it's easy to pop a balloon or stab a piece of cardboard.
A shuriken can go completely through cardboard pretty easily, even thrown backwards like a chopstick...A hira shuriken will go through as well...

This box is thicker than most boxes btw, it's made out of double thick cardboard.

Some "shuriken" can be ok to throw at boxes. Needles, chopsticks and kunai can be thrown at boxes, especially kunai, since these are NOT made for throwing. The only kunai that are made for throwing are naruto kunai (which are anime kunai) and american throwing kunai knives, who are just cheap and have NOTHING to do with real kunai.

Advanced throwers who want to prove you can throw shuriken, throw at wood, and make clear videos with nothing to hide and no "magic editing".

good shurkens should be able to go through 3 boxes those r probably mall shurikens from the mall ._.

You mean a japanese mall? Even then it's hard, most shuriken I have aren't sold anywhere outside of japan and some aren't sold at all : )

There's a very good reason why I put these videos under entertainment. That's what they are for, they're not educational. Other thrower can look at them and compare to their throwing, or they can maybe even learn a little bit. I'm not just talking about the throwing itself, but history behind the shuriken is also important. Knowing that throwing at 18m is possible can inspire somebody to try it.

As for other people they can enjoy the rare skill of shuriken throwing.
