I left out many artist, because I can't include all the others as I think Pat Benatar and Ann Wilson are the two greatest! Period! As far as outlets, I'm in my mid 50's with two older brothers in their early and mid 60"s, respectfully. I had plenty of music outlets when I was growing up and beyond. I stand by my opinion! Moving on!

I never said it was originally by her if it's her 'cover' it's still considered her music. I am not saying she gets credit. But I didn't know about that.

the trouble is this is not her song...it's written and done originally by the Young Rascals (The Rascals) in the 60's

you left out Grace Slick, Chrissie Hynde, Annie Lennox just for starters and those women played multiple instruments and didn't have a producer boyfriend arranging her singing as Benatar...I could name some more obscure 70's. 80's and 90's women you would not recognize but were considered even better by the alternative listener and lastly you also add in Janis Joplin, Tina Turner both with a different style and voice type..maybe watch or listen to other music outlets than MTV for more exposure
