  • As you can see in the video, I have a dust collector that I've turned into a two stage collector.

  • @heyifixit. There are long slots cut into the rear so that enough air can circulate.

  • With this setup, it's best to remove the blade shroud so that you will not get a lot of dust on the table top.

    If your shop vac get to full too soon and blocks the filter look at my channel and look at my video how i solved that problem. ( cyclone dust separator 1 and 2 )

  • i would be a little concerned about a direct drive motor being enclosed - they need som air circulation.

  • Nice video Gary. Yeah, welcome to the world of otherwise good tools in all categories of ww that have lousy or non-existent dust collection. Stu's Shed had a good vid awhile back about his setup on a new table saw. Worth a look. Happy wood-working!
