  • Hey alex ! i was wondering if you have knowlegde about the atc 200 from 1979 engine?

  • I've never worked on one so it would need to be a very generic question for me to be able to help.

  • tb 88 race head kit or the stroker kit? whats the best bang for the buck in your opinion?

  • I'd say 88 kit.

  • on my madass there is no knotch by the fly wheel but there is a suspicious rib inside the case in that general area .. i am assuming that is it

  • I don´t work on Chinese engines. You are on your own.

  • do you know if this would be anywhere close to the same as a henson little atv? i have one for my niece it has a very very hard time starting with or without the choke i was thinking maybe it was off time? and do you know if i would be able to do that with the motor in the quad or if i would have to take it out?

  • I've a question..Does the engine always start at the intake stroke or other wise? I tried a little experiment on my honda wave 125cc engine (malaysia) and whenever i turned off the engine, it always end up just before the inlet valve opens. I also tried looking for some info, and most of them stated that the cycle begins with the intake. Is the mechanism supposed to be that way?

  • @pablojre ...(and the exhaust) was nearly perfect. Redid them both for peace of mind, tripple checking everything as I did it. Now the engine has all the power it use to have. Great top and bottom end power. Only problem now though is a clicking noise. I ran the engine without the valve covers (only for 3 seconds) and it didn't go away, nor did it seam to get louder. Any ideas? Thanks again, your vids are great!

  • @pablojre Rechecked the timing, the circle on the camshaft (mine looks more like a C) was slightly lower than the notch on the head. Moved the chain one link and then the circle was slightly above the notch on the head. It seams to be impossible to make it perfectly line up so I left it retarded like you described. I then checked the valves (finally got my hands on a proper feeler gauge). The intake was really tight and the exhaust... (continued above... little complicated, I know).............

  • What happens if the timing is set during valve overlap instead of on the compression stroke? Will it still run? Sorry for the nub question (I'm a computer programmer, just starting to learn auto mechanics) and a buddy of mine has a chinese Baja DR50 (70cc honda copy). We just did the timing and the engine runs, but it has no top-end power. It starts to make a bubbley sound and cut out a bit, guaranteed not the rev limiter. Wrong timing or just needs valve adjustment? Thanks

  • camera moving around WAY TOO much....brb i gotta go puke cause im dizzy

  • thx :) this helped a lot :D

  • @ThePiston1111 ..I just installed the tb 88cc big bore kit with race head and the bike wont start I noticed some oil coming out of the bottom exaust any help would be great Thanks...
