AND FOR A SECOND DAY IN A ROW THEY WERE ESCORTED OUT OF TIANANMEN SQUARE. UNIDENTIFIED AUTHORITIES COVERED THE INCIDENT UNDER A SHIELD OF UMBRELLAS AND COAXED THEM OUT OF THE SQUARE. REVEREND PATRICK MAHONEY, FROM THE CHRISTIAN DEFENCE COALITION, ALONG WITH BRANDI SWINDELL FROM A PRO-LIFE ORGANIZATION CREATED A DRAMATIC DISPLAY. ANOTHER SMALL PROTEST OCCURRED OUTSIDE OF THE ATHLETE'S VILLAGE AND THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT PULLED AWAY THE VISA OF FORMER US OLYMPIC ATHLETE JOEY CHEEK...ANTICIPATING THAT HE WAS LIKELY TO BE A PROTESTOR MARK CARLSON/STANUP TIEN'ANMEN SQUARE THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT IS WELL KNOW FOR ITS STRICT POLICIES AGAINST ANTI-GOVERNMENT PROTESTS. Guys, this is about basic universal human freedoms, including freedom of faith. I was there in China in the weeks leading to the 2008 Olympics. My mission team and I were there teaching English as a second language. Because we were affiliated with the local underground church, we got caught by the communist police. We had to hide out in a factory. We take so many liberties for granted in America.

All opposition to the Chinese government over Tibet is completely useless. What truly matters is that the Chinese civilians and Chinese people support Tibet as being part of China. That is all that matters. Foreign intervention is no match for domestic support.
