Smallville: Clana - Shattered (Turn the Car Around)

I finally finished a project! I wanted to get this done before 'Bride' aired in celebration of Lana coming back but as luck would have it, school got in my way and I had to postpone working on this until I got my schoolwork done. So by the time I was able to dedicate a lot of time to this video, 'Bride' had already aired so I decided to make it as if it didn't air but how could I make a Clana video without those wonderful scenes? So I waited til the climax of the song to use any 'Bride' footage because as sad as it is to admit, they are at the climax (or rather falling action) of their love story. At any rate, this video has ALL 8 seasons of Clana moments :)

So we all know that Clark ends up with Lois in the end but that does NOT mean he doesn't need Lana. Superman DOES need Lana, she helps him out a lot in protecting his identity and other crises (so I've been told by true comic book fans). I kept hearing this song on the radio and I just knew I had to make a Clana video to it! No matter what Lana does that may hurt him, Clark keeps turning that car around to be with her and is not all that good without her.

I worked EXTREMELY hard on this video, like I said it took over a month to make, lol. At any rate, I wanted to match all the beats so I could include as many Clana moments as I could and I just love the beats! Sorry if it goes too fast, I tried to get it at just the right speed. Sadly I wasn't able to get ALL the Clana moments (there are a LOT of them) but I got most of them in there!

I REALLY hope you like this! I tried out a new type of border for this video that I am quite please with!

No matter that I know that Clark Kent will end up with Lois Lane, I can't help but think he was somehow destined to be with Lana ..... at least Smallville's Clark ..... :D

I wanted to stop watching Smallville when Lana and Clark didn't end up together (it's like watching Titanic - you know what will happen but you can't help yourself, meanwhile shouting at the tv: "can't you SEE THE ICEBERG???")

thank you! well Lana was destined to be Clark's high school love in the comics, just not the one he'd end up with for life...and you shouldnt stop watching a show just because your favorite couple broke up. the show is really awesome (IMO).  you should give Lois & Clark a chance, they're really great together (i think). anyway, SO glad you love my vid :D

Haha, still watching the show :D But still want Clark and Lana.... who will ever forget their first love?

First loves are hard to forget...

And I have a tendency to root for the love that is unrequited or impossible (see: Damon/Elena in TVD or Lucas/Peyton (though it ended well for them) or Cappie/Casey (still to see what will happen there, but it took them quite a while to get past the hurdles haha)

Unrequited love makes great drama - hence my love for Clark and Lana! :D

true, first loves are hard to forget...but they're first loves for a reason (in most cases).  i loved Clana and still do for what they were but i always knew Lois was endgame for Clark. it's why i started watching the show, i've loved the Lois & Clark relationship and Superman mythology since i was a kid...i just happened to fall for Clana while waiting for Clois, haha.

and Lucas/Peyton arent unrequited love...well i suppose they were for a time but they were always endgame i think :)

Couldn't agree more :D I love the Superman mythology as well, always have. (I remember when Christopher Reeve was guest starring in Smallville.... I whooped!! The circle was closed somehow!

Clana is actually the first non-endgame I've rooted for, I've been quite lucky in my Tv drama-in&outoflove-couples otherwise hahaha
