So, the military hired people to do their marketing to reach more people, so what? Are people to stupid to make their own decisions? 2 million people out of 350 million people wow the military is really taking advantage of people. Oh and there is a big difference from bring a gun to school and serving your country, but you probably don't see it that way. The military isn't perfect or for everyone, but it is still volunteer and compared to other countries it is a good one for a host of reasons.

DARPA is developing unmanned military vehicles. One of the first unmanned fighter crafts was shot down in Iraq in the 90s. Once they have machines fighting, it will just be a matter of how much national income they can siphon off to the military industrial complex eh?
