Steve Graham's Classic Jazz featured on a SootsJazz promotion at the Barrington Theatre, Ferndown, Dorset on January 10. Listen to this superb ensemble work and you will understand why they stand comparison with the best New Orleans bands in Europe. Line-up: Steve Graham lead trumpet, Dave Martin support cornet, John Wurr, clarinet/altosax, 'Long Tom' Whittingham trombone, Mike Denham piano, Mike Cox banjo, Ron Berry drums.

  • brilliant jazz,pity about the accoustics.

  • The tune by way was Tears recorded by King Oliver

  • Dave Martin on seecond trumpet (cornet actually). See him with City Steam Jazz band.

  • Looks like Mike Denham on piano. Mike Cox on banjo and John Wurr on clarinet. Don't recognise second trumpet.
