Stolen - Dashboard Confessional [Yuna/Tidus/Lenne/Shuyin]

Hey everyone! I got a new video! I actually loved how it came out, even though it may not be that good in some places of it. It took me most of yesterday evening, and a few hours today as well. But, I loved the song, and I have a different meaning for it to the story. I hope you enjoy it ^^

Song Meaning for this video: I should have picked a different song, but I loved the line, "You have stolen my heart.." And though it may be romance for Yuna and Tidus, it is actually referring to Yuna saying to the other three that they have stolen her life and happiness by not being there with her. In other words, her heart.


.:Story:.

Yuna, Tidus, Lenne, and Shuyin were the best of friends. They were also coupled with each other, Yuna with Tidus, and Lenne with Shuyin. They were all happy and enjoyed spending time around each other.

But, on a very tragic day, they were caught trespassing on private property. Without even giving them time to explain, a number of guards aimed at them and shot them down. Only Yuna survived.

As the nightmare replays in Yuna's head as it does every evening, she awakens, feeling haunted by her old friends. She looks around, knowing they are not here anymore, and she is all by herself. She has a quick flashback of her friend, Lenne. And then a stray pyrefly passes her and she sees another memory. Shuyin protecting Lenne before that pair is shot down.

Yuna shakes the memory away and glances up, swearing that she can see Shuyin's figure walking toward her. but when she glances back again, there is nothing but mist in the distance.

Another memory engulfs her, and she watches herself call for her friends, even though she knows that they are gone. She is startled by the flashbacks, feeling that they are signs from her old friends. She talks to herself saying, "You're not going to leave me alone until I have joined you, are you?" Her voice is soft, and more of a statement then a question. She sighs as she sees passing scenes of Lenne, Shuyin, and Tidus.

She turns away quickly, not wanting to see them anymore when she feels a warm sensation on her arm. She turns sharply back, but notices nothing. She feels as though her friends are calling her to come with them, and that she shouldn't be alive and alone.

They show her a scene of Shuyin and Lenne being shot to their deaths, and Tidus falling dead after he is shot as well. They are trying to prove their point. Yuna begins to realize that they are probably right, and she knows that she can't live without them any more. So she begins traveling back to the place they were all shot.

She makes a lot of noise, and hears the guards coming after her as they did so long ago. While she is running from them, changing her mind, she is greeted with memories of her romance with Tidus, and again, Lenne and Shuyin dieing, and Tidus crying, realizing they are all going to die. Yuna realizes that she could try and live without them, and could ignore their persistence, but she realizes that she is too late as a guard charges her and aims at her, with Yuna trapped and no place to go.

She relives the sensation of being shot with Tidus, and watching Lenne and Shuyin screaming as they are hit. A moment of silence greets Yuna, with no memories or sensations. She stares at the guard as he pulls the trigger, shooting her.

Yuna realizes she should let herself go to her friends, and looks over, wanting to see Tidus there beside her as she lives her final moments to live with him. She feels as though she belongs in a world where her friends are, not a world without them. But Tidus never appears. Instead, Yuna dies alone. And as she begins to close her eyes, her friends are there with her as they always had been.

Now, they are free to roam the Farplane together with each other, living in peace once more.
