It occurs to me how sad it is that the national church building of our nation is so rarely seen on TV. It is a testament to fine craftsmanship and architecture. There are so many videos out of England showing Westminster Abbey. Surely Americans now have a building where our religous celebrations can be held in dignity and telecast to everyone. I say we need to showcase this building as often as possible not just when a President dies.

@hubertjudge Composed by Ralph Vaughn Williams, an avowed agnostic.

I had th is hymn played as the exit hymn for my Mother's funeral Mass in our Roman Catholic Church. Hearing this brings back the grief I suffered that Oct. morning, but at the same time, I remember walking out of that church with my head up knowing that she was now where she belonged at the age of 99. She wanted to make that 100 mark, but was 3 months shy. Thank you for bringing back the beauty of that hymn to me.

@pwthcim From your response I'd say that you are the one in need of prayer. I sure hope you check your attitude before attempting to witness to anyone.

@theproducerspart2 He was born in Nebraska!

@JTB1956 What an arrogant thing to say--as if you were God! There is Scriptural evidence that we need to pray for the dead. And Orthodox, some Anglican, and Catholics rightly believe this. Did Ford tell you he was in Heaven?

@pwthcim Mr. Ford doesn't need your prayers. He is in the presence of the Lord. Consider praying for forgiveness of your own sins.

@furley523 yes we do! This is my favorite hymn. Proud to be ECUSA!

I pray for Mr Ford's soul. Where in the the Scriptures or in the 2,000 year history of Christianity did it say that killing a baby in the womb was okay? The Fords were in serious error on this matter. May God have mercy on them!
The Episcopal Church really knows how to conduct them selves. What a wonderful hymn "For All The Saints".
