Short clip of landing at McCarran, very rough ride due to the tremendous wind storm that occurred on that day.
Sustained wind speeds measured 32 mph at McCarran International Airport with gusts of 47 mph, forecasters said. At Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, one gust was clocked at 77 mph.
I had to stop the video at one point because the turbulence was so bad I couldn't keep the camera still. It was a bouncy landing. This was an Alaskan Air flight from Portland, OR on April 7th, 2011.
