The University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music Collegium Musicum presented a performance of Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610 in March, 2010. Footage of rehearsals and interviews with associate director of choral activities Mitos Andaya, assistant professor Bradley Naylor and guest artist alumnus, Derek Chester.
Kudos to Mitos Andaya for transforming the Collegium and lifting it to a much higher level. She is taking on very ambitious projects and giving students and faculty alike an opportunity to experience Early Music in the Southeastern United States--an area that has been excluded from revivals that have bloomed elsewhere.
