The Legend of The Westend Werewolf is the second installment of improvised Halloween specials from wayoutwest.tv. Just as The Lost Girls, it was shot with a handheld night vision camera and later tinted blue. A subversion of werewolf films in general, and John Landis' An American Werewolf in London in particular, Westend Werewolf was entirely improvised. In pseudo-documentary style, both The Lost Girls and Westend Werewolf feature actors playing themselves in their ordinary lives, but extraordinary situations. Westend Werewolf was made over the course of one day and four nights in September 2002.
