This is a video of the unboxing of a 1ct enhanced moissanite wedding set that I purchased from MoissaniteCo.com (item# sol266). I try to provide as much information as possible so that other shoppers can make an informed decision.

Center stone: 1ct enhanced moissanite
Metal: Palladium

  • We are thinking of getting the same ring set. Would you post a video of it on your wife's finger? I think the setting makes it looks smaller then 6.5 mm but I think the 7.5 (1.5 ct) will look too big.

  • @MikesHDVideos My wife is traveling until the end of June so I can't post any new videos right now. In the video description, if you scroll down to the end I've added a link to some still photos of the ring on her hand. I hope that helps. Keep in mind that my wife's fingers are very thin and long. Both she and I are very happy with the relative size of the stone vs. her fingers...anything larger than 1ct would have been too much.

  • Nice vid...could you post a vid of different lighting conditions, such as: overcast, indoor daylight...different idoor lighting conditions, etc. Thank you for this very informative vid!

  • @The3Placebos I've already posted a video in sunlight...just search for "1ct enhanced moissanite engagement ring in sunlight". Unfortunately, my wife is out of town at the moment so I can't make any new videos for a while.

  • by the way why would you say this is enhanced? what's enhanced about it?

  • @GIA13615093 If you purchase from MoissaniteCo, they have an optional "enhancing" treatment that is supposed to make the stone appear whiter. I don't know exactly what they do (if they do anything), but the stone I received certainly appeared very white. Cost was $100 extra per carat. I believe this treatment may void the Charles & Colvard warranty.

  • you know what sol means dont ya.lol shit out of luck.no diamond no kissy lol

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I have been considering purchasing a ring from MoissaniteCo, and this has been incredibly helpful. Much appreciated!

  • For anyone interested, the band on this ring measures approximately 2mm at the top and 3mm at the base (according to Moissanite Co). Thanks so much for posting these very helpful videos wgross1172!

  • Is this just a cheap version of diamond ? My local jewelers are quite stupid I went to value a moissanite stone and he kept insisting it was real diamond.

  • You can get the two soldered together to fix the gap :-)

  • Very informative and affordable, thank you.

  • Thank you so much for this video. Your commentary was honest and very helpful.

  • I accidentally disliked this video (for those who care) but good video I actually 'like' it!

  • @Taxminia0311

Most people do not have the kind of money to get a decent ring. And it is not being tight asses, it is avoiding being suckered into debt over a carbon based rock. Diamonds are an price-inflated, very common element that has been brilliantly advertised to make suckers like you think they actually hold real value like gold or silver. I would rather put that money towards a car, mortgage, honeymoon etc. basically anything other than a shiny stone.
