I don't know if you check your comments, but just so you know, I'm using this song for a school project. It's in the vain of an old Disney-esque how-to video and it's about preparing for and surviving a zombie apocalypse. :D

@drh4683 it looks like it really needs a cleaning
you can see the dirt on the record

These background music tracks would be great in the intro to a "talk show " or something on a comedy show haha

It's interesting that this is so scratchy - I certainly never remember hearing Muzak (or a competing system like this one) that sounded like it was a scratchy record. Partly, of course, you never heard it played loud on a good speaker, which would mask imperfections.

@TwinMillMC i was going to post the same thing almost verbatim. It fits it perfectly.

I have this same recording on M 08 (12-26-63)

is there somewhere to download these as mp3s? rather then having to download the video and rip the audio? im looking to make a colleciton for some films i will be making

This sounds like a "Leave it to Beaver" sound track. I could just picture the Beave walking home from school looking for pollywogs to this track.

fabulous music
does anyone know who the artist/orchestra is?

A bit like Ludwig Von Drake's "Spectrum Song" :)
Many a new face will please my eye, many a new love will find me, never have I once looked back to sigh, over the romance behind me...many a new day will dawn before I do!
This is a piece from the musical "Oklahoma"

I knew there was something familiar about this tune! Thanks Chad!

So, what's the issue date on this one? Sounds like it was played--A LOT! :-)

Not sure, I wish I knew. This is before the date code, the engraved numbers on the uncut surface doesnt reveal anything either. This record has been this noisy since I got it way back in '94!
