Kiyomizu Dera, Kyoto - May 9, 2009

Kiyomizu Dera is a large temple in Kyoto. It's like a huge park with a lot of different buildings to check out with a lot of nice little walks among the trees. There's also a spring which people use long handled ladles to drink from. It's supposedly good luck, but we didn't get a chance to do it because there was a big line. We had a good time and this was only one of our first stops that day

How long are you going to be there? Man, there is soooo much to see. If you had a solid month you could probably cover everything. I only had four days and had to pick and choose the spots I saw really carefully.

Have a good time! It's probably the best place in Japan to visit
