@HDVideoPro2010 Thanks, we currently have 7 Pierce and one Sutphen 104+ in our fleet. They are great products. The sutphen with it's Hale 1500GPM pump is a great performer too. The body on the sutphen is built like a tank and gets as hot as one inside too. Hehe
@HDVideoPro2010 Yes, you are correct about the chocks here on the left side, the right was correct. This apparatus is a 2009 equipped with a front brake lock and auto-level and both were used on level ground. If you notice the outriggers do not come with safety pins on this aerial either, a lil bit unnerving when you are 100ft up. Thanks for the feedback :D
I do wish we had a rig as nice as you guys. Everyone should be very proud of what you guys have. Take care of it and it will give you many years of service. We have a Pierce 75 foot aerial but no platform. God Bless and Stay Safe!!
Why would you put your wheel chocks on the rear wheels? Those axles will be lifted to a degree with your stabilizers. If you take a AO Class the chocks must go under the front two wheels both forwards and backwards and if you don't put them there you fail. Don't get me wrong I think your video is really slick. I just don't want you to get hurt man. Plus I would just take a few extra seconds to make sure that rig is level. Timing is everything but it's not worth dying over to get the ladder up.
@Minipage37 Thanks!
