I hope im this happy when I have to have mine done:). Must wait 10+ weeks for it tho as there's a pile of other injuries to heal up first in my knee!! Here in ireland I doubt we'll have that knee bending machine so il be expecting a couple of hamsters to be pulling at my leg haha:P

i am on day 12 after the surgery and feel pretty good there are some points of aching but the pain meds help with that. i have been doing the best i can to keep moving around i can walk without the brace and without crutches so i feel that it's improving quickly. i cant wait to shower without a bag on my leg.

I had four surgeries on my L knee between 4/22/09 and 4/28/10. Total reconstruction, two scopes and an extensor mechanism realignment. (1st and last were open knee... and the last put me in the hosp for 3 days). I wish it were just my ACL that was messed up! Count your blessings, folks! I need a replacement but am only 30...

Also... be sure to take your pain meds (at least 2 of whatever youre given) about 35-40 mins BEFORE you go to hell.. I mean PT. pretty sure my PT was the antichrist.

the surgeon said to me my surgery is going to take 6 hours or more im pretty worried about my surgery im only 15
