Chelsea P. and Chloe Canyon Playhouse

Chelsea P. and Chloe Canyon enjoy a game of ring around the playhouse! Chelsea P., 2 yo Pomeranian mix, is doing great on her first day of her Focused Instructional Daycare. She is enrolled in the Pushy Puppy Program. The thin leash she trails helps us encourage and enforce break times as needed for dogs who are new to our program. Chloe Canyon, a 10 mos. Long-haired Dachshund, is doing a great job showing us that Chelsea P. is playing appropriately. Whenever we observe two dogs engaged in a chase game where one is always the chaser and the other the chasee, we look for signs that the chasee is not under duress. The fact that Chelsea P. disengages first and Chloe Canyon then comes in search of her is the perfect sign. Chloe Canyon follows Chelsea P. as if to say, "Why did you stop? Let's play some more!"
