  • whats the difference between the blue gees and the white gees arent they both from west coast martial arts??

  • Blue Gees are XPT (advanced program) white are basic members.

  • so then the guy in the white is a basic and the one in a blue is advanced isn't that kind of un fair???

  • No not really, they still have been training the same amount of time. Now that I look closer at thier outfits white with red stripes means black belt club. Black belt club and XPT are the same thing. If it was pure white with no stripe then it would be basic.

  • i don't like the limitations on our punching in these tournaments. i mean if boxers are allowed to hit each other like thaty arent we. blue guy: kudos on the leaping front snap kick prolly scared the poor guy.

  • I think if there is any punching you have to be licensed by the boxing commission. I think that is why we don't hit to the head. I could be way off on that.

  • Whoo! Good job, especially your jump kicks, I find those hard to do. How long have you been training?

  • @kinto13 they are from the same school each uniform represents a level of commitment you have taeken upon yourself the only difference between the black belt club and the xpt is that you get to lear more dynamic tricks most west coast schools have a program that runs a couple times a week that only xpt members can go to. not only do you learn flips and dynamic kicks but you also have the opportuniy to learn advanced weapons such as kamas nunchucks and bo staff if you have any more questions ask.

  • @Anubyss21 This is not a fight. its point sparring, they wear the chest pads in the olympics too. Some tournaments require them, some dont. I think its more of an Insurance thing not people not being able to take the hit.

  • oh really. well thats cool. so then if there the same can u pick which one u want to be in?? (p.s. sry for all the questions im just real curious abt this place)

  • Hey Nathan! How are you? I haven't seen you or Noah at class..... anyways, nice job man!

  • not bad but i most tournement under black belts cant punch face so lucky them
