my buddy has the same truck/motor with the 40 series. its actually a great sound for the lil truck. not too loud but not too quiet. and thats coming from a muscle car guy who likes 383's and open headers lol

@intelceleron44 Yeah it wasn't bad sounding for a four banger. It was just gutless. Now I have a ram with the 5.9. Check out the video!

Im about to throw a 40 on my 2.2.
Love the rumble in the low end but when you start to get higher rpms.. Thats gunna annoy the hell out me.. = /

To be honest with you, the interior sound is not that bad. Buy a cold air intake, it really changes the tone of the truck a lot. I'd ship mine to you, but I couldn't remove it from the truck after it got totalled. Goodluck with the truck!
