  • this and sleepwalk send chills down my spine...truly great

  • Lets see: no pyrotechnics, don't look like they were shot in the face with a nail gun, don't grab their crotch every 10 seconds, no goth make-up, don't pretend to hump a girl on stage, not half naked. hmmm so what do they have - - oh yeah, now I know, TALENT. Two young guys that put out some amazing and memorable music. Thanks.

  • @GeorgiaBoy1961 You hit the nail on the head!! I concur with you completely. Most of the noise that passes for "music" and talent today isn't worth the powder it takes to blow it to Hell. Yes, that's the ol' Christian spirit. Thanks for your comment.

  • I`ll give it ten stars for having a original Album and for being a great tune!

  • @silverfoxrd: Good post. Back then, America was a vibrant and healthy culture, and our arts and entertainment showed it. Today, we have become a decadent and corrupt culture (at least in many ways) and our arts show this, too. Dignifying the noise that passes for music these days is a disservice to the word, in my view. There are exceptions, of course, but not enough of them. Thanks heavens for recordings of the past!

  • @longboarder771: I was a DJ on the radio station at my college, and I played oldies, including instrumentals like this one, all the time. People loved them, and this was in the 1980s! The good songs stand the test of time. Folks will be listening to Santo and Johnny long after we're dead and gone...

  • I've been a Santo and Johnny fan since discovering their music in the 1970s as a teenager. This song is my favorite of theirs, along with the more-famous "Sleepwalk." Those old artists didn't fill up every spare bit of space with playing; they knew how to let a song breathe. Anyone can play a ton of notes; playing only the right ones is the trick.

  • @longboarder771 .Got to agree with you longboarder this is what I would want to smooch to..never forgetting what an absolute classic it is.First record i bought back in 1960

  • I used to be a DJ, I played this as the last song of the evening so that couples could have a last slow smooch around the dance floor, just about everybody came up to me afterwards to ask me what the tune was? They all loved it so much.
