Kinetic artist Christiaan Zwanikken made this installation in 1992 for a Dutch television program called 'Verbazing' (' Astonishment') produced with Bram Vermeulen at RVU. It was built in 2 weeks. An ironic motrorized hommage to
The Way Things Go (German: Der Lauf der Dinge) a 1987 art film by the Swiss artist duo Peter Fischli and David Weiss. It documents a long causal chain assembled of everyday objects, resembling a Rube Goldberg machine.
