First let me say, I don't play blackjack, but I did design "The Color of Blackjack", for Daniel Dravot. He loves 6 deck shoes. Yes, if they shuffle cards frequently, you can't count. You need deck penetration. He doesn't memorize every card. Some cards have a value of +1, others 0, others -1. Tiger Woods can hit a gold ball further than most people on the planet, Daniel Dravot makes money counting cards.

@StevenFMcGraw Hi there , yes , there were some counters but that was long time ago on two and one deck , when we used to cut them with 10-15 cards of the back . Now , there is no more one or two decks left ( mostly station casinos ) and they cut them at half so there is nothing to coumt .They'll even encourage you and give you a pen and paper if you want so you don't have to memorize .

What does it mean , casino pays you to play ? Or you have a system that beats casino odd ? Yea right .

I have been a professional card dealer for many , many , years and never met a

single person that makes a living of of casino . Sure You can have a lucky streak for a week or two , even for a year , but will you quit at that point , NO . Mathematically there is no system , and strategy equals LUCK . And you all know it .

@Jas0n39er You are right - the casino does know that MOST people do not have the wherewithall to leave after 3 hrs when they are up. They know most ppl are greedy and most ppl will gamble long after they are sharp and know they really shouldn't. Because really anything after about 3hrs and people start to get anxious & impatient. And that's when they gamble and bet the farm on poor 'shot-in-the-dark' choices. Fact is, with 10 units /day using compound betting anyone can be a $millionaire.
