  • how come on the web anti virus you changed it to "block download" instead of letting Kaspersky settings select the action automatically? I was generally happy with Kaspersky until recently.. I was having strange things happening on my computer. I then checked my proactive defense and sure enough the "key logger" had been unchecked in settings. I DID NOT disable that action. I think bitdefender might be a better security on keyloggers. Unless that "block download" is something I should change?

  • @dbritton41 This is just a general guideline that I use as it means that if you attempt to download something, Kaspersky thinks that it is suspicious, it will not let you download it. Sometimes I have found that Kaspersky allowed items to be saved even though they were considered to be malicious.

You may want to experiment with these settings and see what works best for you. By all means, have a look at bitdefender and if it works for you, great. Thanks for watching

  • continued - There is no best security product. You are free to use whatever security product you want to, I use kaspersky myself as it has saved my skin a few times

  • Thanks mate! :P

  • @rossmage glad it was of some use to you!
