  • Now thats what I'm talking about.... A Beer out on the trail. Helping to wash down the Beef Stew. The nighttime video looks good.

Your Hammock setup looks super comfy, much like what I use. Thumbs-Up!

I gotta try that Red Beans & Rice. I've seen it floating around on a number of hammock camping videos.

  • @Pirahnaxxx Thanks again, I got the beans and rice recipe from bablefish5 on hammock forums. I have tried several of his recipes and they are great and easy to do. I was glad the night video worked as well as it did.

    Take care,

    Bluefin

  • I was tickled to death to see this pop up when I finished watching part 1. The bridge and falls are amazing! What's the story on all the foundations? Sweet to have brew with dinner!

  • @RallohE Up until about 1969 there was a fishing village there. A storm washed out the bridge and many of the wharves and fishing flakes and a few houses. The foundations were from the houses. There were no injuries or deaths from the storm but the community was moved after this. There was one house left standing until only a few years ago. Glad you enjoyed it. Take care, Bluefin

  • I miss the East Coast. Grew up in Northern Maine and loved it!

  • you're right...the added weight of packing the beer in would have been worth it after a long day on the trail.

i've got to get back to NFLD when i've got more time to explore!!

  • Great trip loved the suspension bridge . Great evening for a dinner in the bush.
