  • Where is death of mr hooper? Please put it back up

  • @houseoftrash: Unfortunately I can't repost that for legal reasons; Lions Gate complained because it was on the Sesame Street 20th anniversary DVD (which they re-released two years ago).

  • This sketch is kind'a creepy. I feel that this skit promotes mutilations: teaching kids to rip off other kids body parts! This is problaby where the Leatherfaces, the Jeffrey Dahmers, and the Loraine Bobbits all started from! Not only that, it also kind'a makes fun of people who are suffering from LEPROSY!

  • @gtz1975 : I seriously hope you're kidding here; I saw that sketch hundreds of times as a kid, but never decided to mutilate myself or anyone else because of it.

  • @gtz1975 I must have seen this clip at least 1000 times growing up and I always thought it was hilarious! Never found it scary at all.

  • @gtz1975 seriously?

  • Inspires mutilation? Sorry, not to me because even when I was a kid I KNEW for a fact these were puppets. I don't know what kind of kid thinks they are real because only then they might inspire mutilation. If the puppet characters were real then those were REALLY SCARY people these lids might have as neighbors.

  • @hoopersghost Honestly, when I was younger -this skit REALLY did kind'a freaked me out the first time I saw it.I really hope that it never inspired any psychos to do any sick twisted acts. My point is that Sesame Street is supose to be a childrens educational program- in which there is nothing wrong that, but when they do skits like that my fear is that they might send WRONG messages to some children.

  • Bert looked pretty funny without his nose after Ernie took it off and then put it on his Clay Sculpture of Bert.
