http://standingwithstones.net Standing with Stones is a remarkable and unprecedented documentary film that takes the viewer beyond Stonehenge on an incredible journey of discovery that reveals the true wealth and extent of Neolithic and Bronze Age Britain & Ireland.
If you ever wondered what it would be like to travel the length and breadth of the British Isles, visiting the most intriguing and enigmatic monuments that our ancestors left us, from Cornwall through England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland to the outer reaches of the Hebrides and Orkney, then you will love this film.
Described by one magazine reviewer as "A stunning study of standing stones. A work of art." (Forten Times), this is no amateur travelogue. Written and presented by writer and explorer Rupert Soskin and shot and edited by broadcast producer Michael Bott, this film is a stunningly beautiful and absorbing two and a quarter hour tour of our ancient heritage in the company of an engaging and knowledgable host - the journey of a lifetime.
@SuperJBrowne The Bible was written to many generations with different cultures. Ofcourse TODAY in our culture those issue are not applicable. Whats important to learn from the Old TEstament is the lesson God taught the many people and nations that dissobeyed and were on roads of destruction. In thoses days circumcission saved lives because of poor sanitation. Slavery was normal practice throughout history, but God certainly permitted it , that doesn't mean Gods plan is slavery.

@Jebus495 Not a story friend, what is in the Bible.Only Jesus is your hope for eternal salvation. From my heart I ask you to seriously seek God while He can be found. Today the Bible says is the day of salvation. He died for you. Its not a fairy story, he really did die for you and wants everyone to know his love, life and truth. Religion is NOT the answer- Jesus alone is.

@jiminiflix thats a fucked up story

@SuperJBrowne Only God alone alone can tell that. The laws and commandmants are laws that reflect Gods values but HE alone is able give justice apon a people or nation.Even if thats chastisment. His old covernant is a covernant of law. His new covernant is one of grace. In the old covernant mans sin was covered by blood (animal sacrifice).Mans dissobedience leads to a law system man could not keep. The new covernant, mans sin is cleansed by Jesus's blood and by grace His salvation is known.

@jiminiflix You still dont address what I said, God invented these laws and sins according to your bible, now how have you addressd what I said? You still dont say whether its OK to sell your daughter or offer them up for a victory in war, how god condones slavery, murder. How are we supposed to believe this is moral? I'm not talking about punishment, I'm talking about what he made a law. God said these things if you deny it that makes you a liar and you're off to hell.

@SuperJBrowne As I said before, "God allows man to reap what he sows and allows the curses of those decisions upon man. Why? Because if God has warned what will happen, they will happen if we dissobey. " I don't in any way believe the Bible confirms behaviour that is aainst His Will. If its his will to discipline a tribe or nation, God will and I can tell you the worst is yet to come upon the earth. Why? because God is true to His Word and consiquences for sin have to come. God HATES sin.

@jiminiflix Just so we're clear, I gave you examples of laws created by god in those versus, so explain to me when is it the right time to sell my daughter? I already no how much according to Exodus, when is it the right time to get my slave circumcised? maybe I should re-read Geniesis to find out?

@jiminiflix I'll say it again, there is no context, you have no concept of morals, which makes sense considering you believe the bible. God commands all of these atrocities and then punishes anyone for not obeying, how is this out of context?
SuperJBrowne 1 month ago
@SuperJBrowne I have explained to you that the context within surrounding scripture is important. If you take a line here and there from any book you can make the entire book look discredited. If you want to discredit God on these grounds, maybe we could all discredit you by taking you out of context from something you have said? God allows man to reap what he sows and allows the curses of those decisions upon man. Why? Because if God has warned what will happen, they will happen if we dissobey
