This sounds way better than an actual stomp box. I stand when performing and wonder if I could use this set-up while standing. I already have a cajon but never use it cuz I play guitar.

If you screw a base plate to the cajon so it protrudes enough to attach the pedal too, also put some yoga mat (non slip mat) on the bottom of the plate that would do it, then you also have a seat/table next to you.

It's a normal drum pedal turn back to front, I'm using my heel to depress the pedal rather than my toes.
