This award winning animated short film was produced by the National Film Board of Canada and can be purchased at: triple w dot nfb.ca. The soundtrack is entirely original music. The songs "When the Day Breaks" and "Prairie Blue" were written by Wendy and Amanda with music composed by Judith Gruber-Stitzer. They can only be found on the film's soundtrack. They all team up again for their latest film "Wild Life" released in 2011 which won Best Canadian Film at the Ottawa Animation Festival.

I've loved this animation since the first time I saw it years ago. If anyone has any insight as to where I can get the soundtrack for listening purposes, I'd be very appreciative. Thank you.

Can someone take the time to stop and be so kind as to tell me the name of the song that has "where are you" in it? I would deeply appreciate it. Also if you can, the name of beginning song. That would be lovely. Merci.

Wonderful art. So much said without a word of dialogue. Such a nice story. I watched this with a nine year old and both of us could not take our eyes off of it. I can't believe after almost 4 years you have ONLY 105,000 views? It is really brilliant. Thanks for sharing this.
