Edvard Munch's famous painting "The Scream" was carried off from the Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway during a robbery on Sunday. The robbery took place in plain view of museum-goers. Surprisingly, the museum had no alarms connected to the paintings or any other protection for the art. The armed men threatened the museum staff at gunpoint and made away with the paintings via a waiting car.

I read some place that this painting is quite delicate. It is either chalk or pastels applied on "cardboard"
