@hinata167 its kind of a gradual thing. basically oz is moreover becoming our world because the Animals (capital A for those who can speak) are becoming like our animals who can not speak and are just used. theyre basically corresponding to black people in the USA. except backwards, because they were once somewhat equal and now they are being used unequally as slaves
Read the book. It makes more sense in the book, since it seems that in the musical that the lion can't speak. I'm not sure, though. I've only finished half of the book so far....
