How To Clean a NES Cartridge (Properly)

Here we go my fellow gamers, i figured id show you all how i clean all my nes games, i hope you guys can learn something from this video, steal any ideas ive shared, thats what its here for! peace out.

well if you do it this way, you'll need to rinse off the contacts (q-tip w/ water) at least twice. if you don't you'll leave some alcohol residue on them and over time it will eat away the contacts .some people deny this because it doesn't happen over night but it will happen if you leave residue especially if you clean it multiple times without rinsing.

I got adventure island 3 a while back at a flea market for like 50 US cents. The casing was cracked and the contacts were corroded, they looked kind of green. What I did was to clean as best as I could the contacts and then using A LITTLE very fine abrasive paste polished them with the dremel soft disc thingie (my english is not that good) very carefully. It worked like a charm.

@DarkAvatar1313 water fucks up the cartridge too ... and to what i read in the ingridients glass cleaner contains isopropyl alcohol ,grase cutting solvent, amonia,surfactant and colorant ... and if you read in the back of the cartridge it says do not clean with solvents so i guess use neither
