When I was in high school my next door neighbor was in a band called Dale and the Ramrods. One day he asked me if I wanted to go to a dance for free. The band got screwed on money that night and the bass player's father took over management and they changed their name to the Pastels. I was the roadie for the band the entire time they were together and sat through the recording sessions of all three of the Pastels records. We had a great time in the sixties traveling around southeastern Washingon
