Daniel Kempling is a 5th degree black belt in aikido under Kazuo Chiba Sensei. Here Kempling Sensei shows the mechanics behing the rokkyo (arm lock) from a thrusting punch and the importance of "flinch response" in martial training.

  • @qwertical YES! While this fight does the technique from a different position, it shows that with full intent, a move like this can BREAK an arm. Thanks for posting.

  • Excellent video! Judo, BJJ and aikido practitioners are better off cross-training with one another than getting in petty arguments over style. Jujutsu is bigger than one school or tradition.
