ABC Television Mr Squiggle 1959-1977
Mr Squiggle the longest running program on Australian television, it is also the longest running pre-school children's television program in the world. Over the years, Mr Squiggle has turned more than 10,000 tot's squiggles into pictures.
He and his creators, Norman and Margaret Hetherington have won two Penguin awards and in 1990 Norman was made a Member of the Order of Australia (OAM) for the servies of puppetry and television. Over the years Mr Squiggle has had human friends Miss Gina (Gina Curtis), Miss Pat (Pat Lovell), Miss Jane (Jane Fennell), Roxanne (Roxanne Kimmorley) and Rebecca (Rebecca Hetherington).

i can only sort of remember mr squiggle... i dnt even know how old i was when i saw it... lets see... i was about 3, 4 or 5 when it went off the air. they should totally bring mr squiggle back =D
