A rolling stone gathers no moss... Such is the ambiguous premise of team Sylvanvale's award winning entry into the 2010 Sydney/Katoomba 48 hour film project - Hitch. The story of Hitch takes your consciousness on a visceral journey through the day in a life of no ordinary Australian hitchhiker. Defying your preconceptions of an adventure serial, Hitch enthrallingly shatters your preconceived judgement through the visual pallet of a striking highway scape and a highly spirited narrative.

With a diversified cast and crew of over 30 enthusiasts, the makers of hitch had no more or less than 48 hours to complete the entirety of the film. Relying on the abundance of caffeine and will power, the cast and crew of Hitch successfully completed the film on time and were bestowed with a total of 6 film nominations (including best director, best cinematography, best editing, best musical score, best film and the audience choice award) in acclaim for their remarkable finished product. Hitch went on to win the Jack Thompson Encouragement award and the best musical score award.

"Hitch is a short film about chance, the book and the judged cover" proclaimed the film's eccentric director/co-editor - Daniel Kojta.
Also among the crew: Kalani Gacon - Cinematographer and co-editor.
Kell Taylor: Musical scorer.
David Cretney: Producer.
And many many others all of whom contributed their talents to make the film possible. (See credits)
