Robots @ MIT

I wish I would have gotten started earlier. I didn't even know what MIT was until I was exiting high school. I'm going to apply to an engineering program there for graduate school. I'd love to create robots like this. If you could give me any pointers on what personal projects I should work on as I do m undergraduate studies to raise my chances of getting in, I'd appreciate it.
